Police: Man found dead on Richmond Street with gunshot wound in Brooklyn

Officials discovered a 26-year-old man with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.

The NYPD is investigating a fatal shooting in Brooklyn that took place early Monday morning.
Police say they responded to a 911 call of shots fired at 111 Dinsmore Place at 2:17 a.m. EMS discovered a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest in front of 235 Richmond St.
The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests at this time.
