A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed Thursday night in Brownsville, police say.

Investigators say the victim was stabbed once in the stomach and once in the leg at the Brownsville Houses just before 6 p.m.

The man was brought to the hospital and is not expected to survive his injuries.

Police have not released any information on potential suspects.
