A man was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in East New York early Sunday.
Police say a car traveling eastbound on Linden Boulevard struck the pedestrian near Ruby Street at around 1 a.m.
Authorities arrived at the scene to find the 59-year-old victim unconscious. He was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
It is currently unclear if the victim was using a crosswalk when he was struck.
Police have not confirmed whether the incident is being considered a hit-and-run.
