A man is fighting for his life after an accident while riding his e-scooter in Midwood Tuesday night, according to the NYPD.

The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. on McDonald Avenue near Bay Parkway. Police say the man on the e-scooter veered the wrong way and collided with a minivan.

The man was not wearing a helmet and has head trauma.

The driver of the minivan stayed on the scene.

At this hour, no charges have been filed as the investigation is ongoing.
