3ds agoPolice say a man was shot and killed while he was sitting in the passenger seat of a car in Crown Heights.
Shannan Jackson, 37, was shot and killed as while sitting at a red light near Classon and Atlantic avenues on Wednesday.
In a video obtained from the NYPD, the gunman can be seen going up to the car and approaching Jackson, before punching him and then opening fire.
The driver was a 31-year-old woman. Her identity has not been disclosed.
News 12 is told that she and Jackson both tried to get away on foot, but the shooter chased Jackson and proceeded to shoot him multiple times.
