Police: Man killed, another injured in Brownsville barbershop shooting

Investigators say officers responded to calls of a shooting at 557 Chester St. around 9:30 p.m.

Police say a man was killed and another was injured in a shooting Friday night in Brownsville.
Investigators say officers responded to calls of a shooting at 557 Chester St. around 9:30 p.m.
Police found a 45-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his midsection and a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left leg.
News 12 was told the suspect walked toward an outside window of Champion Cutz Barbershop and opened fire, striking the two men.
The victims were sent to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where the 45-year-old man died. The other man is expected to make a full recovery.
Police say there have been no arrests and the motive is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing.
