Police: Man on scooter killed following collision with car in Brownsville

Police say the 30-year-old operator of the scooter disobeyed a red light and was pronounced dead at a hospital.

A man on a scooter was killed early Monday after colliding with a car in Brownsville, police say.
It happened at Linden Boulevard and Thomas S. Boyland Street at around 2 a.m.
Police say the 30-year-old operator of the scooter disobeyed a red light and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
They say the 38-year-old man driving the car was not hurt.
There are no charges.
