Police: Man punched, stabbed in altercation over gas money in Morrisania

Police are searching for three people involved in a violent attack in Morrisania.
Police tell News 12 the incident happened last Saturday around 1:05 p.m. at a Speedway Gas Station on Webster Avenue.
News 12 is told a 36-year-old man, the victim, offered to give three people a ride home and got into an argument about gas money.
Police say one of the men punched the victim in the face while the other man stabbed him with a sharp object in the buttocks and torso.
The two male suspects and a female suspect fled and the victim was taken to a hospital.
The 36-year-old man is expected to be OK.
Anyone who recognizes any of the suspects is asked to call police.
