Police say a man was shot multiple times while sitting on a stairway Friday.
The say it happened while the 26-year-old was sitting on steps in front of 143 Stuyvesant Ave.
Police say the suspect ran up to the man and shot him in both legs and once in the hip.
They say the suspect then ran into a getaway car that sped off on Greene Avenue.
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital and is expected to be OK.
