Police: Man stabbed to death in Coney Island
Police say a man was killed in Coney Island Saturday night after being stabbed multiple times in the torso.
Jorge Castillo was stabbed next to a funeral home on Mermaid Avenue, police say. Local residents speculate the attack could be gang-related.
"It's all about gang members," says Jesus Velez, a friend of Castillo. "It's pretty awful what happened. He doesn't deserve that. People don't fight one-on-one."
