Police: Man survives gunshot to the head at Morris Houses in the Bronx

A 27-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the head Monday night in front of the Morris Houses on Washington Avenue, police say.
According to the NYPD, two male suspects shot the victim in the head after a failed robbery attempt just after 9 p.m.
The 27-year-old man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he is currently in stable condition. It is unclear what, if anything, was taken from the victim.
Officers believe the suspects fled in a green sedan along West 169th Street.
