Brooklyn man arrested, charged with forgery and larceny in Connecticut

The NYPD says the officer approached the man for a lawful stop for fare evasion. They say the man then punched the officer in the face.
The officer was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect was last seen heading down Holland Avenue and Magenta Street.
