Police: Man wanted for shooting woman in Throgs Neck
Officers say the suspect pulled out a gun and aimed shots at a man on the corner of Quincy and Dewey avenues, but ended up striking a parked car nearby instead.

6h agoPolice are asking for the public’s help to identify a man they say shot a woman in Throgs Neck.
Officers say the suspect pulled out a gun and aimed shots at a man on the corner of Quincy and Dewey avenues, but ended up striking a 31-year-old woman.
She was taken to a nearby hospital -- where she is expected to be OK.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black ski mask, gray jacket and blue jeans.
