Police are searching for a man wanted for assaulting and robbing someone on the subway in Brooklyn.

Officials say the incident happened Wednesday afternoon inside the Borough Hall subway station.

The suspect allegedly approached a 68-year-old man and demanded his property.

When the man refused, police say the suspect began to punch and kick the victim until he was able to get his wallet.

The 68-year-old man sustained pain and bruising, but refused medical attention.
