Police say the man who fired the bullet that hit a woman in Marble Hill was arrested Tuesday.
Police arrested 27-year-old Cody Ball. They say a bullet from his gun hit a mother who was walking her 2-year-old daughter down the street.
Ball is facing charges of attempted murder, robbery, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a firearm.
Police say Ball and someone else got into an argument with a 22-year-old and guns were drawn. Ball allegedly fired a shot that hit the 28-year-old mother instead of the person in the altercation. The mother was pushing her child in a stroller at the time.
At the time of the shooting, the mother was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and is expected to be OK.
