Police: Metro-North service temporarily suspended after body found on tracks

A body found on the tracks shut down service on the Metro-North earlier Tuesday.
Police say a body was found on the railroad tracks at 5:30 a.m. in Wallkill.
News 12 was told the man was pronounced dead on scene.
NJ Transit, which operates the Metro-North Port Jervis line, temporarily suspended all trains in both directions due to the investigation.
