Police: Millions of dollars’ worth of marijuana found in downtown Brooklyn warehouse

The mayor’s office added this is the largest operations on a cannabis distributor to date.

Police say they made a multi-million-dollar discovery in downtown Brooklyn over the weekend.
According to authorities, millions of dollars’ worth of marijuana was found in a warehouse at 63 Adelphi Street. The mayor’s office added this is the largest operations on a cannabis distributor to date.
News 12 was told this all came to light because police responded to a burglary at the warehouse and made the surprising discovery.
The sheriff's office says once the illegal product is released, it’s packaged and sent off to bodegas. Many of the designs are very colorful and attractive to children.
Three people believed to be burglars were taken into custody.
