Police say three children were found malnourished in an apartment in Bushwick, and that their mother and her boyfriend are facing charges.

Sources tell News 12 that two young children and an infant were found malnourished, and that a 3-year-old boy was found tied to a bed.

Police say the 3-year-old, along with a 6-year-old girl and a 10-month-old, were found on Linden Street Tuesday.

Kiana Messier, the 25-year-old mother of the children, and her boyfriend, 26-year-old Thomas Madera, are in police custody and facing a slew of charges, including endangering a child and assault.

News 12 has been told the kids were taken to a hospital and are expected to be OK.

Madera has been formally charged, while Messier is awaiting arraignment.
