Police: Norwalk woman lit fire inside hotel room

A Norwalk woman is being held on bond after being charged with starting a fire in her hotel room.
Police say it happened at Extended Stay America Friday night.
Officers were called to the hotel on reports of a woman walking around with a baseball bat and knocking on other guests' doors.
They met the woman in the hallway, but she went in her room and locked the door.
Smoke later came from the room and began to fill the hallways after, police say, the woman disabled the smoke detectors and lit a charcoal fire.
There were no injuries in the incident.
