searching for answers about the death of an East Patchogue man.
According to
police, Benjamin Herold walked from 7-Eleven in East Patchogue on Montauk
Highway back to his home on Atlantic Avenue just before 10 p.m. on Oct. 30.
About a half
hour later, police say Herold was found outside his house with leg pain.
The 41-year-old
was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
Police
believe his injuries could have been the result of being struck by a
vehicle.
