Police: Person in custody in fatal shooting of 15-year-old in Brooklyn
Police have confirmed that a person is in custody in connection to the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old in Brooklyn.
Officials say Martial Amilcar, 20, was charged with second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

They say Samuel Joseph, 15, was gunned down inside his apartment building on Flatbush Avenue around 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 22. They say he was shot multiple times in the head and torso and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Joseph's family told News 12 right after his death that he was a kind boy who didn't cause trouble with anyone.
Surveillance video released by the NYPD apparently showed Amilcar and another suspect waiting outside near the apartment building before the shooting. State Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte said a day after the shooting that the video also showed the suspects speaking to Joseph's sister, asking where her brother was.

Police released a photo of a Amilcar on Monday, saying he was a potential suspect.
