Authorities released new details about O'Shae Sibley, the 28-year-old man who was fatally stabbed outside of a Midwood gas station.
The NYPD says they are looking for a 17-year-old in connection to the possible hate crime. Sibley was with friends dancing to a Beyoncé song while they were pumping gas.
That's when a group of men approached them and started shouting gay slurs, which then led to a dispute. Authorities say one of the men then stabbed Sibley, who was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts says Sibley was a professional dancer who has performed there.
