Police probe 2 Christmas morning shootings in Brooklyn
Police say two shootings took place early Christmas morning in Brooklyn.
They say the first was in Williamsburg where police confirm a 23-year-old man was shot while aboard the Manhattan-bound M train at the Lorimer Street station.
News 12 was told the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to recover. Police say the victim is not cooperating with officers.
The MTA says trains were rerouted for a few hours, bypassing some stops as an investigation was conducted. Train service has since returned to normal.
Police say they have no suspects.
In Flatbush, a 30-year-old man was shot in his left foot by an unknown assailant at 2505 Bedford Ave. He's now recovering at Kings County Hospital.
No arrests have been made. Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
