Police responded to a 911 call on Friday night about a domestic dispute on Exeter Street.
When they arrived inside, they discovered an elaborate grow house with dozens of marijuana plants at different stages of growth, and all sorts of growing and storing materials inside multiple rooms and the basement.
Police believe that the merchandise was likely being distributed across the city. The house is located a few steps away from a day care.
"They are growing the plants from birth to larger plants, they are packaging, and they are sealing all of this on site, and distributing it from this location," said New York City Sheriff Anthony Miranda.
Police say they have arrested a man in his 30s so far.
