On the same day, someone fired a pellet gun out of a car and hit two men in Levittown.
Police say it was one of four incidents in Nassau County.
Nancy Nunez says social media could have too much influence over young people.
"They go to social media to follow what they're seeing," Nunez says. "It's real disturbing."
She says she is now also worried about her own young son's safety.
No arrests have been made so far.
It's unclear if the incidents in Nassau and Suffolk counties are connected.
