Police have released a picture and video of the suspect wanted in connection with the deadly shooting of a livery cab driver this past Monday.
They say a man named Unique Grey, along with friends, shot and killed Naji Fawaz. The victim was found by police with multiple gunshot wounds on Decatur Street, between Patchen Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Grey has also been tied to at least two other cab driver attacks in the area. Officials warn residents that he is "an ultra-violent individual."
According to NYPD Chief Robert Boyce, Grey, 23, was released from jail May 1 and is on parole. He has 15 prior arrests and a distinctive tattoo on and around his collarbone.
