Police released new footage of the men they say are responsible for a mass shooting in Cypress Hills.
Shots rang out just after 1 a.m. on Sunday, striking six teenagers outside of a sweet 16 birthday celebration.
Police say the two girls and four boys, ages 15 to 17, were hospitalized and are expected to recover.
The footage shows two men dressed in all black wearing face masks.
News 12 aired surveillance video of the pair approaching a street corner and firing more than a dozen rounds down Atlantic Avenue.
The city’s first gun czar, Andre T. Mitchell-Mann, spoke with News 12 about his 15-year-old niece, who fell victim to the violence.
“She is the worst of the six victims,” said Mitchell-Mann. “She got shot actually three times. She got struck once in her chest, once above her waist and another bullet in her knee.”
NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said investigators believe the shooting was gang-related.
No arrests have been made.
