Police have released a video of a man throwing paint on a
statue of George Floyd vandalized Sunday morning while on display in
Manhattan’s Union Square.
A man on a skateboard is seen rolling by the statue and
using a bucket of paint to splatter the front of the statue of George Floyd’s
face before continuing to skate and leaving the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information
is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
