The NYPD says it is looking into multiple violent incidents across Brooklyn as tensions continue to rise amid the Israel-Hamas war.
Police say a man in a scooter went up to four people on Flushing and Classon avenues Wednesday night and ran into one of them with that scooter. The suspect is then accused of hitting a man with a flag before taking off.
Outside a Jewish synagogue on Ocean Parkway, police say two teens were shooting gel pellet guns Wednesday night. No one was injured, but they were taken into custody.
At around midnight, multiple people were yelling anti-Palestinian statements while raising an Israeli flag from a car, authorities say. The group allegedly got out and assaulted an 18-year-old and harassed two other men on 86th Street in Bay Ridge.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the NYPD.
