Passengers on the C line reportedly heard shots fired aboard a train.
Police responded to chaos unfolding at the Ralph Avenue station in Bed-Stuy around 8:30 a.m. Friday.
Surveillance video shows crowds running from the station and into a nearby deli for cover.
Investigators say there was an argument between two people aboard a training, but responding officers did not find any evidence of shots being fired.
Police are searching for a suspect who may have escaped with the crowds fleeing the station.
No one was hurt.
