Police: Scooter driver killed in crash with delivery truck
Police say an electric scooter struck the back tire of a delivery truck in Bushwick on Wednesday morning, leaving the driver of the scooter dead.

say an electric scooter struck the back tire of a delivery truck in Bushwick on
Wednesday morning, leaving the driver of the scooter dead.
NYPD
says the incident took place just before noon. The victim, a 49-year-old male,
was turning left onto Palmetto Street when he struck the back tire of a
delivery truck.
Authorities
told News 12 that the victim was wearing his helmet during the crash. It is
unknown if the driver of the delivery vehicle is facing charges at this time.
