The NYPD released surveillance video of three men who impersonated officers and injured a man during a home robbery in Highbridge.
Surveillance video shows one of the men spray painting security cameras inside an apartment building on Summit Avenue and West 164th Street.
Police say the three suspects entered the apartment back in Jan. 2 by knocking on a door stating that they were NYPD officers executing a search warrant.
When the victim opened the door, the men entered and zip tied his hands along with another woman who was also inside the apartment.
One of the assailants took out a gun and shot the 31-year-old man in the back.
The robbers got away with about $20,000 from the home before taking off in a white Mercedes SUV.
The male victim was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition while the woman was treated for minor injuries.
Police are asking anyone information about the robbery or if they recognize the suspect to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
