Police search for leads in newsman's death
Police are searching for clues in the slaying of a longtime radio reporter who was found stabbed to death in his Carroll Gardens apartment over the weekend.
Police say there was no sign of forced entry at the apartment of 47-year-old George Weber, but they think a back door may have been left unlocked. An autopsy is expected to be completed Monday.
Weber worked at WABC for 12 years as the on-air reporter for popular shows such as "Curtis and Kuby."
