Police say the first incident happened March 19 at around 6:45 a.m., a 30-year-old woman was walking near Gold and Front streets when an the suspect approached her from behind, grabbed her waist and performed a lewd act.

yesterdayPolice are asking for the public's assistance to find a man who forcible touched women in Dumbo, Fort Greene and Brooklyn Heights in the past three weeks.
Police say the first incident happened March 19 at around 6:45 a.m., a 30-year-old woman was walking near Gold and Front streets when an the suspect approached her from behind, grabbed her waist and performed a lewd act.
Other incidents that occurred include:
Sunday, March 30, 2025, just before 8 a.m., a 21-year-old female was walking near Middagh and Willow streets when the suspect approached her from behind, grabbed her arms and performed a lewd act.
Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at around 10:30 p.m., a 34-year-old female was walking near Henry and Joralemon streets when the suspect approached her from behind, grabbed her waist and performed a lewd act.
Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at around 4 a.m., a 60-year-old female was walking near Fulton Street and Ashland Place when the suspect came behind her, grabbed her and performed a lewd act.
People in Dumbo said they were shocked when they heard the news.
"It's hard to comprehend. Like I moved here ten years ago from California, and it's just something that I feel has just gotten worse and worse and worse," said Paul Jackson.
