Police search for man who assaulted woman on Queens subway platform

The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn with minor injuries to her head and face.

Police are searching for a man accused of attacking a woman on a Queens subway platform.
The incident was caught on surveillance video and took place on May 30 at the subway station at Broadway and Roosevelt avenues in Jackson Heights. 
Police say the 41-year-old woman got into a verbal disputed with a man identified as Manuel Gonzalez.
He then grabbed the victim by the hair and pulled her to the ground.
Police say he choked and punched her in the face. A good Samaritan helped pull Gonzalez away before he fled the scene on the F train. 
The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn with minor injuries to her head and face.
