Police are searching for three suspects they say robbed an apartment on Monroe Avenue.
Authorities say the suspects, two men and a woman, were recorded by the building's surveillance cameras when they barged into a tenant's apartment two weeks ago.
The suspects, who were armed, entered the apartment using a ruse. The female suspect told a 31-year-old woman who answered the door that water was leaking from her apartment. When the tenant opened the door, she was pushed into the apartment by the two men.
Police say one of the men forced the 31-year-old tenant into her bedroom while the other two suspects robbed the apartment. Police say the victim was not hurt.
The NYPD is asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
