Police are searching for a Gravesend man after his mother found dozens of stolen parking meters in her East First Street home.Police say 34-year-old Maurice Mizrahi, the homeowner?s son, has a history of stealing parking meters.?He?s been arrested for this crime seven times,? says Cmdr. George Mastrokostas.Authorities allege Mizrahi has been swiping the meters around Sheepshead Bay and Bensonhurst. Police say that when the meters are full they can hold up to $95.Sources say Mizrahi has a drug problem and has also been arrested for possession of burglary tools and aggravated harassment. Mastrokostas is confident the suspect will be caught.?It?s only a matter of time before catching him again,? he says.
