Police are asking for help finding two men accused of breaking into a building early Tuesday morning in Williamsburg and stealing several packages before driving off.

Investigators say it happened around 3:45 a.m. on Varick Avenue near Harrison Place. The NYPD says the two men broke open a lock box to get inside what appears to be a warehouse-like building, then took off with packages that didn’t belong to them.

Detectives released photos showing both suspects wearing black face masks. One was dressed in a blue vest, blue baseball cap and jeans, while the other wore all black, including a hoodie and sneakers.

Police say the men got away in a GMC Yukon that was last seen heading south on Varick Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls can remain anonymous.
