Police are still searching for the man accused of pushing a 3-year-old girl to the ground in Kensington last month.

Police say the child was walking with her mother near McDonald Avenue and Albemarle Road in broad daylight when the suspect pushed her down.

The girl suffered a minor scrape to her elbow, but her mother told News 12 she is recovering well.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking away from the scene wearing what appeared to be a bright green jacket.

Neighbors say the incident has left them shaken. “He pushed a 3-year-old? I would be very upset. I’m a grandfather. I would break his jaw,” Marc Anthony told News 12.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
