Suspect charged in violent beating of MTA bus driver in Yonkers

Police are warning commuters who ride the 2 train in West Farms of a guy they say could be dangerous.

They say a violent robber is on the loose after punching a man Tuesday and stealing his bag last week on the 2 train. The victim was treated by EMS at the scene.

According to authorities, the attack happened when the train was at the East Tremont-West Farms Station.

Police are asking the public for assistance to help find the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
