Police are looking for two men involved in a brutal attack on an elderly man in Flatbush.
Authorities say the two men walked up to Earlin Clarke, 79, outside his home on Tuesday. One of the suspects put the victim in a chokehold and threw him to the ground, while the other ripped off his pants and stole his wallet.
Investigators say the incident was captured on video.
Clarke told News 12 that he feels sorry for the suspects. "I feel bad that they had to go through such measures and nearly choke me to death," Clarke told News 12.
Clarke says he tried to offer some resistance during the attack, but relented when he realized his life was on the line.
Clarke says the two suspects took off with his rent money, a total of $1,100 in cash, plus credit cards and a cellphone.
Following the robbery, both suspects used the stolen credit cards at an Adidas store inside Kings Plaza.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspects. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
