Police are searching for two suspects accused of assaulting two women inside a Bushwick bar early Thursday morning.

Authorities said the incident happened around 1:20 a.m. at Heavy Woods, a beloved bar on Wyckoff Avenue.

Residents and regulars tell News 12 they were shocked to learn Heavy Woods had a violent incident inside.

A man and woman struck the victims multiple times without provocation and pulled one woman’s hair, according to police.

Sources told News 12 the attack was unprovoked. One woman was kicked in the head by the suspects, who fled from the scene after a call was made to 911.

One victim sustained minor injuries to their fingernails, knees and face and was treated at the scene, according to police.

Both suspects fled southbound on Wyckoff Avenue following the attack.

Customers expressed shock at the attack.

“We love this place. They are so nice. It’s really scary, and it’s not fair to them,” said Caroline, who says the bar is the last place she would think someone would get into a fight.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
