Police: Stabbing leaves Brownsville man in critical condition
A Brownsville man was stabbed early Monday morning inside an apartment at 639 Watkins St.
Detectives told News 12 that the 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after he was stabbed in the back and slashed in the face.
According to the police, the motive behind the attack is still unclear. They say the suspect they are searching for is believed to be the victim’s 32-year-old girlfriend.
A woman from inside the building where the stabbing occurred says it was “a chaotic morning” when she woke up to her neighbor falling against her front door, visibly bleeding and asking for help.
No arrests have been made yet.
