Police say a student was stabbed twice in the stomach Thursday afternoon at J.H.S. 49 in Williamsburg.
The school, at 223 Graham Ave., was locked down after the stabbing though classes were back in session later in the afternoon. The injured student was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
Police made two arrests in the stabbing and say they are still investigating the events that led to the incident.
