Police: Suspect charged in connection to fatal stabbing in Downtown Brooklyn

According to authorities, 37-year-old Anthony Sabato is now facing several charges.

Police say the suspect of a deadly stabbing in Downtown Brooklyn is in custody.
According to authorities, 37-year-old Anthony Sabato is now facing several charges, including first degree murder, first degree robbery, aggravated cruelty to animals and criminal possession of a weapon.
Sabato is accused of stabbing 37-year-old Thomas Machal-Chick in the torso after an argument inside an apartment building on Sand Street.
The victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he died.
