Police: Suspect slides arm through glass barrier, steals $600 from laundromat
Police are searching for a suspect who navigated through a glass barrier to steal $600 from a laundromat earlier this month.
Ching Mo Lam, the owner of Jiang Laundromat, says the glass barrier was intentionally installed to ward off anyone trying to break in.
Surveillance video shows the thief sliding his arm through a hole in the barrier to get access to the laundromat, while another suspect is on lookout. He is shown struggling to open a drawer before using what seems like a highlighter to pry it open.
Police say the suspect stole a box that contained $600 in cash.
Mo Lam says one machine wash costs $2 and says he's finally getting back on track after the robbery.
He says he's waiting for the suspects to be apprehended.
