Police are asking the public to help locate the individual responsible for a hit-and-run assault in Queens.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities say a 25-year-old man was driving his Audi on College Point Boulevard near Avenue 22 when a dark-colored SUV drove straight into him. The man swerved out of the way to avoid getting hit, when a White Ford F-150 truck hit him, pinning him between both vehicles.
Police say an unknown man exited the SUV, approached the victim and pointed a gun at him. The victim managed to escape, but the driver of the pickup truck rear-ended his car, causing him to crash into another parked vehicle.
The armed suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, black pants and sneakers.
Anybody with information is asked to contact the police at 1-800-577-TIPS.
