Police: Suspect wanted for shooting, injuring man; stealing his car
According to the NYPD, a 30-year-old man was shot once in the torso before 1 a.m. near Eldert Lane and Linden Boulevard.

A man is recovering in the hospital after getting shot overnight in East New York just before 1 a.m., police say.
According to the NYPD, a 30-year-old man was shot once in the torso before 1 a.m. near Eldert Lane and Linden Boulevard.
He was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Police say the suspect, who was wearing all black, took off from the scene in the victim's car. The car was found shortly after by authorities.
The suspect remains on the loose.
