Attacker on the run after slashing man’s face on Coney Island

A suspect is wanted for shooting a 66-year-old man in the face early Saturday morning in Bed-Stuy.

Police say the victim was on Lewis Avenue and Pulaski Street at around 3:30 a.m. when a bullet hit his cheek.

The man was hospitalized and is expected to be OK, according to authorities.

Police say the shooter fled the scene in a red car that may have had a South Carolina license plate.
