The NYPD is on the hunt for a man suspected of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in a series of burglaries across Midwood, Kensington and other parts of Brooklyn.
Police say the suspect stole close to $200,000 at five locations in two days. According to police, he broke into three homes and one commercial building in less than three hours on March 23 across Midwood and Kensington.
Authorities say he took a wallet at one of those homes. At another home, he stole jewelry and other items worth more than $36,000, police say.
Three days later, he broke into another house in Borough Park and escaped with $164,000.
All of the incidents happened between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., officials say.
No injuries were reported. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police.
